"Is it ready yet." "Any update." And then, a month later, the review you meant to ask for and never did. Most of that follow up already runs inside SpotsPOS, on the ticket you already opened.
Status updates, sent on their own
When a repair moves from received to in repair to ready, the customer gets the update the moment the status changes. Nobody types it. Automatic emails also go out on events like a repair update or a new sale, so the front counter is not the only thing keeping a customer informed.
Every finished repair can ask how it went
Once a repair is completed or picked up, the customer is asked to rate the work, by email, and by SMS if your shop has SMS credits. A positive rating is pointed on to a review service of your choice. Every rating, whatever the score, is emailed to your shop with the repair attached, so you always know which job it is about.
Read the ones that land in your inbox
Reviews are the part everyone talks about. The more useful part arrives quietly: a rating, a sentence explaining what actually happened, and the repair it came from. When the sentence does not match the work you know your shop did, call that customer. And when the same sentence keeps coming back, that the job took longer than expected, the fix is usually upstream, in the repair workflow itself.
